Canadian
citizens are entitled to work authorizations in over 60 professional
occupations. The work authorizations are valid for up to three years
and can be renewed indefinitely under current regulations.
The employer can be either U.S. based or a Canadian company that requires
an employee to work temporarily in the United States.

Processing of TN work authorizations can be done at a land Border, a Canadian international airport or by mail with the U.S. government Vermont Service Center.
